JOB SUMMARY:

Key Outputs:  

  • Delivery receipts collected from Data Entry Clerks
  • Reports are produced
  • Utility crates and trays are dispatched
  • Loading sheets checked
  • Deliveries dispatched according to schedule
  • Load all trucks
  • Check inventory and reports

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Check inventory and provide the report to Night Loading Supervisor
  • Coordinate the transfers of finished products from Rural Plants
  • Receipt of all finished products from Kingston and the rural plants
  • Check all loading sheets
  • Collaborate with Night Loading supervisor to ensure that all loading sheets are correctly completed.
  • Ensure that delivery receipts are accompanied with loading sheets
  • Manage and supervise all aspects of the loading area
  • Prepare all loads for dispatch to Delivery Contractors
  • Ensure Drivers and Driver-mates are punctual and are properly attired
  • Inspect trucks before loading
  • Load all trucks
  • Ensure all trucks are loaded as per loading sheets
  • Ensure that all trucks are loaded according to the delivery load sheets
  • Ensure that all delivery contractors after loading all utility crates are properly checked.
  • Prepare and compile daily and weekly variety reports of finished goods issued to schools.
  • Assist in the compiling of drivers listing for Kingston Plant.
  • To ensure that proper inventory of finished goods is maintained.

 

Performance Standards:

  • All delivery receipts are collected within agreed time frame and are free from

error.

  • Reports are submitted in correct format and within agreed time frame.
  • All utility crates and igloos are checked according to requirements
  • Loading sheets are correctly completed and within agreed time frame

Minimum Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management Studies
  •  Certificate in Computer Skills
  • At least six (6) months experience in a manufacturing distribution environment

 

 Or

  • Associate Degree in Management Studies
  • Certificate in Computer Skills
  • At least one (1) year experience in a manufacturing distribution environment

 

Working Conditions:

  • Night duties
  • Work is done both indoors and outdoors

 

 

REMUNERATION

Basic Salary: $1,550,136.00 – $2,084,761.00 per annum
